The Wilson Family genealogy begins with Samuel Wilson and Rosie Drayton Wilson.
Sam Wilson was born in October 1860 to Charlie and Charlotte. He married Rosie Drayden, who was born in March 1862 to George and Millie. Rosie passed away at the age of 53 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on January 27, 1916. Sam later died on September 9, 1940, in Kinloch, Missouri, at the age of 79.
Together, they had nine children:
Octavia (1883), Emanuel (1888), Jordan (1890), Earley (1894), Olivar (1897), George (1901), Triphenia (1902), Samuel (1904), and Roscoe (1909). Over time, their children and grandchildren formed branches of the family across Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio.

Octavia Wilson
Octavia Wilson was born in October 14, 1883 in Arkansas. Her father, Sam, was 23 years old, and her mother, Rosie, was 21 at the time of her birth. On March 12, 1905, Octavia married Solomon Graves in Drew, Arkansas. Their marriage lasted for 30 years until Solomon passed away in 1935 in Drew, Arkansas, at the age of 58. It was also reported that Octavia had a second husband, Walter H Hurley, who died on September 8, 1960, in St Louis, Missouri, at the age of 81, although no marriage certificate could be found. She died on April 13, 1967, at the age of 83.
Early Wilson
Early Wilson was born in June 16,1894 in Arkansas. His father, Sam, was 33, and his mother, Rosie, was 32. He married Celia Harris on April 20, 1917. Early died on November 22, 1979, in Kinloch, Missouri, at the age of 85.
Triphenia Wilson
Triphenia Wilson was born in December 19, 1902 in Arkansas. Her father, Sam, was 36, and her mother, Rosie, was 34. Triphenia married Herbert Williams Sr in her hometown. She passed away on April 4, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, at the age of 60.
Emanuel Wilson
Emanuel Wilson was born on September 25, 1888, in Hamburg, Arkansas. His parents, Sam and Rosie, were 27 and 26 years old, respectively. Emanuel married Minnie Curtis on January 27, 1907. Together, they had one child, Trenton Wilson (1909–1978), who was born on January 9, 1909, in Fountain Hill, Ashley, Arkansas. Emanuel died on February 25, 1954, at the age of 65 and was buried in Berkeley, Missouri.
Olivar Wilson
Olivar Wilson was born in October 4, 1897 in Arkansas. At the time, his father, Sam, was 39, and his mother, Rosie, was 37. Olivar married Janora E. Dennis on April 3, 1951. He died on February 28, 1991, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 91.
Samuel Wilson
Samuel Wilson was born on November 16, 1904, in Monticello, Arkansas. His father was 44, and his mother was 42. He married Ola Mae Ledden on May 4, 1924, in Ouachita, Arkansas, and they had one daughter, Maeola Rucker (1925–2011), born February 5, 1925, in Arkansas. Sam later married Ruth Mae Edwards on June 29, 1965, in St Louis, Missouri. Sam died on April 19, 1973, in St Louis, Missouri, at the age of 68.
Jordon Wilson
Jordon Wilson was born in February 7, 1890 in Arkansas. His father was 31, and his mother was 30. Jordon married Julia Malinda Sterley on 7 Oct 1917. He was the father of several children: Benjamin Harrison Wilson Sr (1919–1994), born July 14, 1919, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Alvin Leon Wilson Sr (1923–2006), born December 24, 1923, in South Kinloch, Missouri; Nathaniel Wilson (1925–1972), born November 13, 1925, in South Kinloch, Missouri; and Frederick Douglas Wilson (1929–2000), born November 28, 1929, in Kenlock, St Louis, Missouri. Jordon died on December 21, 1966, in St Louis, Missouri, at the age of 74.
George Wilson
George Henry Wilson was born on February 6, 1901, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His father, Sam, was 40, and his mother, Rosie, was 38. George married Minnie Sykes on September 26, 1928. They had a daughter, Theora Wilson. George died on October 31, 1971, in Highland Park, Michigan, at the age of 70.
Roscoe Wilson
Roscoe Wilson was born in 1909 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His father, Sam, was 49, and his mother, Rosie, was 47. He died on November 19, 1968, in Fulton, Missouri, at the age of 59.
